We will be pleased to make a home visit within the Norfolk or Cambridgeshire area to anyone who would like to discuss matters in their own home. Cheryl Page

Cheryl is a solicitor, Partner and Head of the Private Client Department. She advises on wealth management, trusts, probate, wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and elderly client and Court of Protection work and associated tax issues.

She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).

Cheryl has successfully completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes.

She is also a Notary Public.

In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys coarse fishing, gardening and sewing.

Sandra Rawson

Sandra is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Private Client Team, working primarily from our King's Lynn office. She is our longest standing lawyer and specializes in Private Client work with a wealth of experience.

Sandra advises on the making of wills and the administration of estates after someone has died, as well as the making and registering of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of deputies through the Court of Protection and managing elderly clients financial affairs.

She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)

In her spare time Sandra enjoys gardening, walking , socializing with friends and supporting her son in his various sporting activities both for his school and local clubs.

Diane Hewitt

Diane Hewitt

Diane is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Private Client Team, working primarily from our Swaffham office. She has been with this firm for six years and specialised in Private Client work for the past 16 years.

Diane advises on the making of wills and the administration of estates after someone has died, as well as the making and registering of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of deputies through the Court of Protection. She helps to manage people's financial and property affairs when family are not able to do so.

Diane has recently successfully completed the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioner's Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation (England & Wales) and is now a STEP affiliate.

Diane enjoys gardening, walking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marcus Phillips

Marcus Phillips

Marcus is a solicitor in our Private Client team and is primarily based in our King's Lynn office. Marcus qualified in 2006 and joined the firm in December 2009, having previously worked in Cambridgeshire. He advises on the making of wills and the administration of estates after someone has died, as well as the making and registering of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the appointment of deputies, both to look after someone else's affairs through the Court of Protection.

Marcus is a Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). Marcus is currently studying for the STEP membership exams this coming academic year.

Outside of work, Marcus is the Chairman of the March Summer Festival Committee and enjoys writing and amateur dramatics.

Nicola Firth

Nicola is a Private Client solicitor at our King's Lynn office. Nicola studied Law and undertook her Legal Practice Course in Nottingham. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2012. She is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Nicola advises on a range of issues including wills and the administration of estates after someone has died, as well as making and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney. She is also able to help with Court of Protection matters, elderly client matters and basic level Inheritance Tax Planning.

When Nicola is not at work, she is a keen runner and enjoys all kinds of sports including netball and squash

Richard Bamford

Richard is a solicitor and Consultant in the Ely office. He specialises in Private Client work and flood defence and land drainage matters, but over the years has helped clients with a wide variety of problems.

He is involved with several charities, currently Chairing one of them, in and around Ely, where he has been a city councillor and former Mayor of the city as well as being High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire in 1998.

Desmond Humberston

Desmond Humberston

Desmond is a Partner in the Private Client Department, some 25 years a solicitor, with the vast majority of that time spent practicing in Dereham as a Partner with Hood Vores and Allwood specialising in Wills and Tax Planning, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work and Trusts.

He is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and was, for a number of years, dual qualified as a financial advisor. He has held many appointments over the years as Charitable Trustee, Clerk to the Income Tax Commissioners, Chair of School Governors and Treasurer of the local PCC.

He has always been, and remains, a keen sportsman, running and playing racket sports, squash and badminton regularly and as much golf as proves possible. He also enjoys watching sport, walking, film, theatre and reading and vegetable gardening.

Dan is a solicitor and Partner in the Private Client Department and is based at Ely.

Daniel qualified as a solicitor in 2001, but has over 17 years' experience in the Private Client field. He undertakes all aspects of Private Client work, including wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, estate administration and trust work but has a particular interest in wealth management, trusts and the protection of vulnerable adults.

Daniel is also a Notary Public.

Outside of the office, he is the Group Scout Leader for Gamlingay and Gransden Scout Group, an officer of the Gransden District Branch of the Royal British Legion, and an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Biggleswade. He has a young family that absorbs much of his recreation time but he enjoys a round of golf when he gets the opportunity.

Sally Jahangir

Sally qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has since that time practised in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, specialising in all aspects of Private Client work.

Sally is based in our Ely office and advises on a broad spectrum of private client matters. Sally can assist in the preparation of wills, the administration of estates, preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax planning, and advice regarding care home fees.

Sarah is a Chartered Legal Executive, having qualified in 2008 following years within the profession.

Anne joined the firm in 2002 as an Assistant in the Private Client Department, where she initially dealt with care for the elderly issues and then became one of a team administering estates.

Under the guidance of Cheryl Page, Anne assists in the administration of estates of longstanding clients who have died.

She is local to the community, is a keen gardener and an animal lover.

Jen is a solicitor in the Private Client department at our Ely office. Jen read law at Selwyn College, Cambridge, before undertaking the Legal Practice Course at BPP in Manchester. Jen qualified as a solicitor in the Private Client department in October 2012.

Jen advises on a range of issues including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection, and probate matters.

Jen is an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Claire Chapman

Claire Chapman

Claire has been with the firm since 1993. She is an Executive within the Wills and Probate Department based at the Watton Office, and she primarily deals with elderly clients by managing their day to day affairs.

She also advises on the registration of Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as the preparing of a Lasting Power. Claire also helps on Court of Protection applications, which are needed when someone loses their mental capacity and there is no Power of Attorney in place, as well as the administration of estates.

Claire's hobbies include gardening, reading and spending time with her family.

Julie Sheldrake

Julie is a Solicitor in our Probate Department and is based in our Watton Office. Julie qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has always specialised since qualification in private client matters.

She deals with all aspects of probate and estate administration, the preparation of wills, the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as advising on inheritance tax planning and the use of trust arrangements.

She is a Full Professional Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and is working towards full membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Julie is married with two young sons. She is the Treasurer of her local Youth Club which she helped to re-establish in 2011 and enjoys a local Book Club which she set up, also in 2011. Her hobbies and interests include Newfoundland Dogs, walks in the countryside, clay-pigeon shooting, travelling, baking, fund-raising activities for charity and cross-stitch
