Simon Fowler

Simon qualified as a solicitor in 1975. He joined the Swaffham office in 1980 and was a resident partner running that office from 1984 to 2011. He is now a Consultant at the same office. For the most part he has specialised in property and commercial matters, with particular reference to agriculture.

Simon is a non-executive director of a number of companies. He is also a school governor, a church warden and chairman of his Parish Council.

Away from the office, he has a smallholding, sails and plays tennis. He was for 20 years a TA officer in the Suffolk & Norfolk Yeomanry.

Simon Wilson

Simon is a Partner in the firm. He joined the firm in 2006 to lead the expansion of the Commercial Property team in King's Lynn. He has experience in all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant, site acquisition and disposal, and land development. Simon's client base includes a wide range of owner-managed businesses, property developers, entrepreneurs within the leisure industry, and established larger organisations. He also provides general commercial advice, and assistance with licensing.

Cameron Green

Cameron is a solicitor and Partner of the firm, having joined from Kenneth Bush Solicitors, and is based in our King's Lynn office. Cameron qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and specialises in all areas of commercial property including landlord and tenant matters, sale and purchase of land and the sale and purchase of businesses. As well as being able to advise on general commercial matters, Cameron also deals with sales and purchases of residential property.

Outside of work Cameron is a Governor of Sandringham and West Newton Primary School and plays cricket for Sandringham Cricket Club, having previously represented both Cambridgeshire and Norfolk at county level. Cameron is also a keen follower of Norwich City Football Club.

Jenny Doran

Jenny is a solicitor within the Commercial Property team and qualified in September 2007. Jenny relocated from Manchester to join Ward Gethin Archer in January 2011 after having gained experience in law firms in both Manchester and Liverpool.

Jenny can advise on a wide range of commercial property matters from business leases, including retail, industrial and office premises; to landlord and tenant matters. Jenny also deals with general commercial conveyancing including the sale and purchase of land and commericial property, and acts in relation to the sale and purchase of businesses.

Jenny also undertakes residential conveyancing and can assist with purchases, sales and remortgages.

Jenny advises a variety of clients from small business to organisations with large portfolios of property in the West Norfolk area, and her clients appreciate her personable approach and high quality service.

Jenny is based in our Swaffham office. She is a keen supporter of Manchester United.

John Thorogood

John is a Partner working in our Ely office and is a specialist in commercial, agricultural and residential property transactions. John qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and joined the firm in 1985.

His work encompasses sales and purchases of agricultural land, including farm sales and purchases, the sale and purchase of development sites; legal development of commercial industrial estates and the preparation of options, pre-emption and joint venture agreements. John also deals with partnership formation and franchise agreements as well as business start-ups.

John is a member of the Solicitors Benevolent Association and the Law Society Property section. He was a board member of Kings Forest Housing Association, and is currently Chairman of the Eric Drummond Mercer Trust, a charitable trust dealing with people with learning disabilities. John is a former Round Tabler and now a member of the Ely 41 Club (the ex-Round Tablers organisation). He is a member of Ely XT Limited, a charitable organisation responsible for organising the annual firework display in Cherry Hill Park, Ely. John was also the former Registrar to the Dean and Chapter of Ely Cathedral and was a former Governor of Soham Village College from 1996-2007, being Chair of the Governing Body from 1998-2007.

He is a keen cyclist and walker, having taken part in the National Three Peaks Challenge and having successfully trekked to Everest Base Camp.
