Commercial Dispute Resolution

Our Commercial Dispute Resolutions team advise on a wide variety of Litigation Claims. Whatever the nature of the dispute our team have the expertise to deal with it effectively. Our specialist team can offer an accurate assessment of your legal position and rights and advise you on your potential options.

Dispute Resolution

Often if we are involved early we can help to resolve the matter so there is no need to issue Court proceedings. However, if Court proceedings are necessary, we will pursue them vigorously on your behalf whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

Ward Gethin Archer Solicitors have extensive litigation experience of both pursuing and defending legal claims. We look for opportunities to achieve a swift solution and we are committed to establishing and attaining your objectives as effectively and cost efficiently as possible.

Our solicitors can advise on:

Contractual Disputes

Our Solicitors can help resolve and deal with all of your contractual disputes. Whether this is a supplier failing to fulfil their part of the contract or a client refusing to pay for the goods or services, we can advise you as to the course of action which will be most effective for you. Our Solicitors have substantial experience in considering contracts and advising on contracts and the most effective means of enforcement of contracts.

Commercial Litigation

Our experienced Solicitors are able to advise business clients in relation to any disputes. Our Solicitors will assess each and every claim and advise upon the best way to proceed with the claim including advising you on the commercial decision of whether to pursue your claim or whether to attempt to settle a claim and avoid litigation. Our Solicitors appreciate that you are a business and do not necessarily have the time to deal with litigation and therefore we will take these pressures away from you and conduct the claim as trouble free as possible. We appreciate the need to ensure the minimum disruption to your business whilst trying to achieve the best result.

We will work with you to solve any disputes cost effectively and as speedily as possible and most importantly so as to cause as little inconvenience to your business and its employees and managers. We highly recommend the use of alternative dispute resolution, if possible with the assistance of Mediators and Arbitrators. However, we do appreciate that cases cannot always be settled and we will fearlessly pursue your claim or defend the claim against you in Court.

We will provide you with advice without the legal jargon and as well as giving you options to consider, we will clearly set out our opinion to you.

Debt Collection

If you are an individual or a business and are owed money by another party, our dispute resolution Solicitors can assist you with attempting to recover the debt on your behalf. We aim to supply cost effective debt recovery solution for you or your business. Where debts arise, we seek to recover all sums due, including costs and interest as quickly and efficiently as possible. It is important to act quickly in debt recovery matters and our Solicitors act on behalf of a number of local businesses in recovering their unpaid invoices.

With all of the above matters, we will work with you to ensure you receive a prompt, efficient and cost effective service.

If you require advice, then please contact one of our solicitors below or your nearest office who will be more than happy to assist. The contact details for each of our offices can be found by clicking here.

It may be that you have insurance under a home insurance policy to cover the funding of your claim or you have insurance under your business policy which may be able to cover the cost of us acting on your behalf. Alternatively, we may be able to agree with you for you to make payments on a monthly basis in order to budget for your legal costs.
