About Me
Originally from the Midlands, I now live in West Norfolk. I have two young children and a greyhound.
I enjoy running and cycling. I also enjoy music and I sing in a choir, performing throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond, often supporting local charities and armed forces charities.
My Work History & Experience
I studied for a music degree at the University of East Anglia and retrained into law.
I have worked within a legal environment since 2002 and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. I gained a broad experience working on dispute resolution and family cases before returning to East Anglia in 2017 to specialise exclusively in family cases, with a particular interest in matrimonial finances and complex asset structures. I am a resolution member and qualified in the collaborative approach in 2019. I advise on all aspects of family law including separation, divorce, civil partnership dissolution, matrimonial finances and planning for a future relationship or a second marriage, as well as the rights of unmarried couples, including cohabitation agreements.
I regularly handle issues regarding children such as the question of with which parent(s) children should live with and spend time. I also handle private law relating to children matters including those involving allegations of harm.
I am a member of Resolution and qualified as a collaborative lawyer in 2019. Collaborative law is a process which aims to resolve family issues in a constructive way, which can be especially useful where the parties want to maintain future relations such as where a business or children are involved.
With several years’ experience in civil litigation, dispute resolution and employment, I can assist clients where there are other issues that often arise in a relationship breakdown, such as dealing with business assets and third-party rights in property.
My Time at Ward Gethin Archer
I trained and qualified in Birmingham in a large regional firm and joined Ward Gethin Archer from there in 2011.
I am based in the Ely office.
I love the friendly atmosphere and the local values at the heart of the firm.

I work with clients to find the right solution, whether that is a financial clean break order, a cohabitation agreement, divorce, separation agreement, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreement or change of name deed.
I specialise in helping clients through all of the legal issues around family and relationships. I love helping people to solve problems.
I like to take the time to explain things clearly and help people understand what is going on, which is often during a difficult and stressful time in their lives.
